Double amputeePosted by Bonnie Bramlett on February 09, 19101 at 07:57:52:
My girlfriend has had both legs above the knee removed due to bloodclots that kept causing heart attacks. She was on life support and it was the only answer. Thanks to the great doctors and surgeons and God my friend lives. I cannot go be with her right now and she is not able to take calls yet. Her family has let her know that I love her and thatI'll be there soon, and her sister-in -law wrote to you all and told me to come to you for help. Connie and I are ole runnin buddy's:)(I mean that as a metaphor), We sort of are the adventurist type and we would sometimes just get in the car and go to the Grand Canyon or anyplace we fancied. So just because her legs are gone I don't see why we shouldn't still go. Would it be wrong to say we can still go. I know that's the first thing she'll want to do as soon as she can. We had more fun dreamin about our adventures before we went than we had on the trips sometime. I want to plan ahead with her, if she want to. So what do I do? I don't want to do the wrong thing while trying too hard to do the right thing. I'm crying now because I don't know what to do:(:(:(( Help
