You seem to have a serious systemic disorder. Are you by any chance diabetic or have you been diagnoised with anemia? Do you tire easily? I am certain that a liver panel has been done as well as a kidney function test. What is the dose of Warfarin? How often are blood tests done? Can you obtain a copy, for your own records, of your medical file? If so, you may find the liver panel and kidney function tests. What other medical complaints do you have? Do you have arthritic pains in the joints of your hands or arms? How is your vision? This last bit you need not answer, have you had any periods of heavy drinking of alcoholic beverages, ie: more than 3 drinks per day. Has there been any use of illicit drugs? You are, of course, free to decline to answer any of these questions. It is just that I do not have a clear picture of your condition and the course of treatments and their reason for being implimented. Big question: why are the blood clots forming? Why the need for Warfarin? There is a big piece of the puzzle missing. What do you mean when you say that your GP doesn't "want to know"? What has he said or done to cause you to say that? From this side of the Atlantic, I am practically in the Pacific, your case sounds like medical malpractice and you need to be talking to a lawyer. If medical malpractice is not the problem, then there is a crucial bit you have not revealed and which you may not know. I will await your reply. Karen
