Where Do I Start!Posted by Celeste on February 25, 19101 at 23:33:24: My mother(78 yr old Diabetic) recently had her right leg amputated above the knee due to gangreen which set in from a blood clot . She suffered a stroke two days after the surgery which left her paralized on her left side. I moved her to a nursing home closer to me so that I could spend more time with. I have been reaching out in hopes of obtaining info. needed to better deal with Mom's present condition as well as what the future holds for her. It is by far the most heart wrenching situation I have ever had to face:o( My immediate need is clothing for her. Due to her paralysis, it is quite cumbersome to dress her in the clothes she use to wear. In addition, she weighs all of 78 lbs. I came across one clothing mfg. but his items are too big. Any suggestions? Sincere Thanks!
