C Leg Question to any who can answerPosted by Charlotte on January 19, 19102 at 17:10:08: Hi, I have posted once before about my nephew who lost his leg in a car accident back in October. It will be a while before he will be fitted with a prosthesis but it looks like he will be going with the C-leg. He doesn't have many therapy sessions left through his insurance company and the question of whether the therapy of learning to walk with his new leg is included in the cost of the prosthesis or would that be a separate charge? He hasn't been seen by anyone yet to start the fitting since he needs another round of surgery so we weren't sure how all of this works. He has received a boat load of information about the leg but no mention of therapy was included in any of it. Can someone who has been fitted with the C-Leg help with this? As much as any of the prothsis cost one would assume that the price includes the therapy but I have also learned never to assume anything. Thank you, Charlotte
