: I am 6'6" tall and weight over 300lbs.My artifical leg is bigger than most people.........lol I know I draw alot of attention and always have even before I lost my leg. People stare because of ignorance or just being curiouis. When I go out I notice that there are not alot of people like me out. Most of them hide there disability to fit in. I say stand out,be seen,do what you want any way you can.
: You have to love yourself before you can be loved.I know it sucks,but what can you do. You can either hide away and miss out on life . Or go out and do the best you can. I too have good days and bad ones. I just keep thinking of the good days to get me thru the bad.
: If someone looks down on you because of your situation,then you probably don't want to know them anyway.There are to many good people in the world to meet,don't let the bad ones slow you down. Someday they will understand,until then we(the amputee"s) have to be the stronger one.
