I was at my CP's shop just this past thurs. and wanted to get started running too. Fortunately, one of the apprentices there is an extremely active AK who has the C-leg too. We started out on the treadmill and increased the speed until my very fastest walk wasnt fast enough. Before I even knew it myself, I had a little jog going!!! I could only do it for 5-10 mins. at a stretch as it was much more exhausting than I had thought. (Got to get into better shape!!!) As to the foot issue, my CP also says the same thing that the current approved foot isnt the greatest. But, Otto Bock is shortly going to ok another one of their feet for the C-leg. We hear this should be happening in a month or so. : I recently got the C-leg and I was interersted in getting back to running again-anyone out there with a C-leg running? If so, any good ideas on how to get started? Treadmill the best way to start? Any pointers would be great. My leg doc claims you can do it with the C-leg although he didn't tell me how.
