: ANY ONE EVER USED OR HERD OF A PROUDUT CALL
: FARABLOC..USED IN PHANTOM PAIN..MADE IN CANADA

Hello Wally,

I am an AK from Vancouver, Canada, and I found out about Farabloc while searching the web one day. They are also located here so I had heard about them.

Phantom pains have plagued me for years, and I usually dealt with them by taking nerve relaxers and Tylenol 3. As you can imagine, the side effects alone were enough to deal with. And the drugs did not always help.

I ordered the Farabloc cloth and used it the next time the pains came. The shielding effect of the cloth seemed to alleviate the sharpness of the pain almost immediately.

Pain management is usually a combination of things, such as massaging the stump, taking hot baths, medication, etc. There is a good article on this subject at www.amputee-online.com.

I find that the farabloc cloth has been very effective for me in dealing with phantom pains without taking strong medication.

Have a look at their site at the link provided. I think they will ship to the US. Good luck with your situation!

Larry
