I could be wrong but I don't think there is anything really great and new in this area. It's the basic foam cover and the "quality" depends entirely on the skill and artistry of the technician who makes it. I am more satisfied with the one I have now than many of my previous ones. The only thing I think is marginal is the knee - it never looks like the real thing. Interestingly the technician has done things previous prosthetists have said were not possible. Like I've had it made too skinny and been told they have to start all over - this guy added to the calf - no problem. Also had a crease at the knee that I was told nothing could be done about - this guy augmented the knee (several times) and now no crease. I'd tell your prosthetist you are really concerned about getting a lifelike cover and ask them if they have someone who is really good at doing covers. I'd even ask who they think is the best at doing these. They could refer you to someone else if they aren't prepared to meet your requirements. If they don't then I'd persist until you get something you find acceptable. From my experience you should be able to get a cover that matches your sound side exactly - with the exception of the knee.
