: Thanks a lot for all your great advice and kind words. It really meant a lot too me and it lifted my spirits immensely.

Hi Quentin - Haven't logged on for a while and just caught your originnal message.
You are in the most beautiful city in the world. I was there in '96 for the World Series
Amputee Golf Tournament. Geoff Nicholas, pro, a BK, organizes the tourny along with
Jayne Ambrose of Sydney. We played at The Lakes Golf Club. I should say LAKES
golf club. Water, water everywhere, but a lot of fun with some wonderful Aussie amps.
They put on another tournament this year, the 2002 World Series Amputee Golf
Tournament. Sorry to say but we could not make this one.
I used to have a Mauch SNS knee that worked fairly well (with a lot of practice) going
down hill. I now have a 'C' leg and it is wonderful going down slopes surrounding
greens, no problem.

There are a lot of Aussie amp golfers who could answer a lot of your questions.
I suggest you might call Jayne Ambrose, 140 Oberon Street, Coogee, NSW, 2034
PH 61 2 8383 9500(w) or 61 2 9664 2683(a/h). I have her e-mail address which I will
give you if you e-mail me directly. Jayne should have a list of amputee golfers in
the area that, I'm sure, would give you some pointers. Click my name for the
e-mail address. Hope this info helps.

Now for the leg. Your CPO should be able to fit you properly, keep at him.
Work out your good leg, make it powerful. Everything is easier if you do.
g'day mate, ta'care, Walt
