I may never come up with any better ideas, but trying to is better than giving up and self destructing. No one is guaranteed anything in life, we all have to work towards some goal. Yes, some seem to have things easier than others, but everything has a price. I am saddened by this loss of a persons life. I hope all who have to deal with depression can find something worth going on for, no matter how small it may be. Life is worth living, no matter what shape your earthly package is in, but sometimes it is hard to see why.

People who complete suicide feel they have no other choice. Being rational has nothing to do with it; they just see no other option. It's like being in a dark hole with no hope of ever seeing the light. No hope - that's a tough place to be. Suicide is not a selfish act - it is the result of very deep and/or untreated depression. The God I know doesn't condemn people who are sick including those with a mental illness. Suicide is also a very difficult death for family members and friends to deal with as they often feel responsible or that they should have been able to prevent what happened.

This is very sad and my heart goes out to those that survive him.
