I have been told by the big guys at Bock that not one of the clegs has "worn out" The first ones were deliverd in europe 7-8 years ago. I think they could last decades. they are essentially fully rebuildable. it has ball bearings in the knee axis,the hydraulic cylinder is a very simple yet sophisticated design, and the microprocessor is a rugged solid state device
Of course if you are a heavy equipment operator in a concrete plant it will tear and errode every aspect of the knee and it will need full replacement. if you work as a teacher in a clean enviorment it could go on for ever.I've had people wear out spring lite feet and lose socket fit .
