It's an hour-long ride on stationery bikes where you can vary the resistance. It is the best cardiovascular exercise I can do. Like you, I'm not a runner. Average hour class burns about 500 calories! I was scared I wouldn't be able to do all the standing run and "jump" routines, but I can. I bought a pair of bike sandals that clip onto the pedals, so I don't have to worry about my foot coming loose from the cage. I love it! Afterwards I lift weights for about a half-hour and I'm done.
