Browsers use a "cache" to retain web pages in your computer's memory. When the browser goes to a page it checks to see if a newer (updated) version of that page is available. If the page has not changed since your last visit, or if the web site tells your browser that it has not changed, then your browser will load the page that is already saved in memory. i.e. there is no point in downloading a new page and using bandwidth if there is nothing new to see. Point being - if you use AOL, it may take a few days for AOL's proxy server to update the page (proxy servers are just BIG caches for Internet providers). Otherwise if you are using Internet Explorer try this simple fix: : At the top of the Internet Explorer window you should see ( File Edit View Favorites Tools Help ), Select "Tools" > Internet Options : In the window that pops up you should see a section regarding "Temporary Internet Files". In that section click the "Delete Files" button, then click OK when prompted. : Click OK again to exit the Internet Options window. : Now try surfing to http://www.abovekneeamputee.com and see if the new board comes up. With the procedure above we have cleared your cache so that all the old pages are gone and fresh pages will be loaded the next time you visit your regular sites. The pages will begin to cache again, but now you will have the newest version in your cache so you shouldn't have to worry about it until they make a new board in a few months. : Just because I'm on a roll... the reason that the changes are not recognized at abovekneeamputee.com is because they use frames. The template page which loads the frameset hasn't changed in years, though the pages in the frames themselves have changed. Therefore it is the static template page that is queried, not the new frames, which is why the changes are not recognized and the cached page is pulled up instead. : If none of the above works then just click this link and go directly to the new board: : : -Tony
