My experience riding with my leg on wasn't very comfortable, but I strongly believe that if I had a greater interest, things could definitely be done to make it more comfortable. That old saying, "If there's a will, there's a way." If you type, "Horseback riding and amputees" in google, you'll find a message board and websites. Maybe you'll be able to find some young riders that way. Good Luck,
