and still another dayPosted by Bill on March 02, 19106 at 00:44:07:
Was just sitting here reflecting on the ladies responces, and thinking about what can be done for amputees. I know alot of you have seen the leg that actually walks for you (victhom.com--if you want to view the video) but how many of you would actually have the time to put it on? If you did'nt know it requires leads to be attached to your sound leg--but as crazy as it sounds I would bet the majority of us would want one!! We all want something as close to a flesh and blood leg as we can get and that includes me. I kow that I sound a little cynacal but I'm really not,I have had 6 sockets each a little different from the previous and all felt good to start with, but just how good can hard plastic feel on you? I want to know if anybody can tell me is when its 80 degrees how do you keep from sweating and almost losing your leg? Don't tell me anti-presperant that does'nt work. I'd just like to have a socket that was somewhat comfortable, and did'nt hurt cause i've got a good attitude and a desire to walk so good that no one can tell...but as everybody says I guess I have to keep looking for that***great*** prothestist.
