Back to the crutch issue;
I find, that since I do not hardly use my crutches (full time prosthesis user) that it is much more convenient to have a folding version. I personally prefer the forearm style and their is a great one on the market. See Crutch Ability (used to be Award Prosthetics crutch store) at www.crutchability.com .

I like the folding ones, because they are easy and convenient to throw in a suitcase or an overhead compartment on an airplane. They also fit well under the edge of my bed for those midnight bathroom runs...........

Crutch Ability has a couple versions of forearm travel crutches and a few of the underarm style. In fact, not all versions of the travel crutches are shown on the current site, but will be on the new site once completed.
