Not wanting to put a damper on things but you will still have to get the surgery to repair the femur ( I just did that , fell and broke the femur on my AK side -not fun ) Being an AK is no walk in the park, if I'd had an option I'd still have both legs. Be very sure before making this decision. Good luck.
